LUBBOCK, TX (August 13, 2020) – Vexus Fiber, (“Vexus”) a leading provider of fiber-based residential and business internet and telecommunications solutions, will broadcast a virtual award ceremony for the 2020 Vexus Scholarship Winners on the company’s Facebook Page at Saturday, August 15th at 11:00 AM CT. The five scholarship winners will each be receiving a $2,000 tuition scholarship as part of the Vexus Scholarship Program.

The Vexus Scholarship Program was designed to provide financial assistance to students who have a desire to further their education so that they can acquire the knowledge and skills to better prepare for the future. The winners of the 2020 Vexus Scholarship Program are:
Savannah Wiebe who plans to major in Business Administration at South Plains College.
Trenity Wall who plans to major in Pre-Med Sciences at Texas Tech University.
Stephanie Jolley who plans to major in Animal Science at Texas Tech University.
Skylar Barkowsky who plans to study Business Management at South Plains College.
Peyton Winn who plans to study Elementary Education at Texas Tech University.
Established under Chapter 74 of the Texas Property Code, the Vexus Scholarship program has awarded over $20,000 since its inception in 2017. Each year Vexus awards different amounts of scholarship funds to High School Seniors in the rural communities we serve. The next scholarship deadline for graduating seniors who wish to apply will be in March 2021.
